Ian Gregson joins Salt to lead the development of Salt Wales
Salt is launching a new national publishing programme in Wales, the programme will extend Salt?s Welsh publishing in English, and bilingual publishing in both print and digital media.
Salt Wales will be edited by Ian Gregson who will be looking for new writing in both English and Welsh. The focus will be upon poetry, but he will also be interested in short fiction and other genres such as local interest and nature writing.
Salt Wales will draw upon Salt?s award-winning sales and marketing as well as its US and Australian distribution, and everything that the central business can offer in taking regional and national literatures to international audiences.
Gregson will be drawing together an editorial team for writing in the Welsh language.
All the publications by Salt Wales will have a substantial Web presence, and the Salt Website will reflect products and services in the English regions, and in Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
