Jane Holland joins Salt Publishing as a Commissioning Editor

The 42-year-old poet, novelist and editor of the online arts journal
Horizon Review
has published five books of poetry, including two collections with Salt. She began her publishing career in 1995 with the poetry magazine
Blade
which she edited for nine issues. In 1996 she received an Eric Gregory Award for her own poetry, and published her first collection with Bloodaxe Books the following year. Her latest book is
Camper Van Blues
from Salt Publishing (2008).

Jane Holland comments:

?I am delighted at this opportunity to become part of the publishing phenomenon that is Salt, and look forward to working with them over the coming year. If there is to be a poetry renaissance in the United Kingdom, there’s no doubt that Salt Publishing will be at the heart of it, constantly generating new ideas about the way we publish and market poetry.?
