The Salt Reading Group commences in just a week from today. On Wednesday the 30th June we’ll be welcoming all of you to discuss Elizabeth Baines’ Too Many Magpies with each other.
But how do you join in? And what is twitter???
Twitter is a great medium for literary minds to mash. Anybody can join twitter, all you need to do is visit www.twitter.com and click the yellow ‘Get started now’ button. You’ll need to enter your email address and create a password along with the whole registering process. Twitter is a networking site where you can briefly update everyone who is ‘following’ you as to what you are doing.
Once you have created your twitter account you can ‘follow’ salt publishing by searching for ‘saltpublishing’ which you can do by clicking ‘Find People’ which is at the top of the page. You won’t be able to find the #SaltReadingGroup until it is launched next Wednesday. When it is launched you can link anything you ‘tweet’ (write in the text box) to the reading group and you should be able to read all the related tweets from everyone else who has linked into the group.
If you haven’t got your copy of Elizabeth Baines’ brilliant novel Too Many Magpies it’s not too late. Just click here to purchase it from our website.
